The events to check out in Edinburgh this October

October is the best time to explore Edinburgh. There are gin, food and cultural festivals almost every weekend! 

Why not organise a flat day out for Oktoberfest? Or kick off the festive season with Halloween celebrations at the Edinburgh Horror Festival?

Make the most out of the Edinburgh Corn Exchange and check out the seasonal events hosted there.

Edinburgh Coffee Festival 

Are you a coffee lover? Celebrate Scotland's coffee scene and try out a fresh new roast this autumn.

Big Big Gin Fest 

If coffee isn't your thing, then why not relax with a gin and tonic? Try out a new pink gin or maybe try something a little more different. Grab a pic with the artsy bottles and Edinburgh views!

Edinburgh Cocktail Festival

Check out the cocktail village in Festival Square on Lothian Road. There will also be events, parties and cocktail pop ups across the city all week long.

Scottish International Storytelling Festival 

If drinking isn't your thing, why not spend some time getting creative? This festival celebrates traditional and contemporary storytelling.

Sausage and Cider Fest 

Is there anything better than a day of cold beer and delicious food? Grab a cider or beer, enjoy the live music and a range of sausages from all over the world.

Scottish Vegan Festival 

Do you love cheese? Head to the Corn Exchange to try vegan, dairy-free, creamy and block cheese! Vegan foodies will love this fest.

Edinburgh Horror Festival 

As Halloween season approaches it's time to get spooky! Edinburgh Horror Festival has movie screenings, threatre, comedy, magic and spoken word.

Edinburgh Oktoberfest 

It wouldn't be autumn without a trip to Oktoberfest! Try an authentic German beer with food and live music. Make sure to look out for the bar-tenders dressed in traditional Oktoberfest costumes.
