Alternative date ideas
Guys and girls, it's time to move away from the typical 'cinema, food and a couple of drinks' date...
Why? Well, because we'll pretty much all agree that it's getting pretty boring.
Deciding where to go and what to do on a date isn't the easiest task but if you're looking for something a bit different, you're in the right place!
Release your competitive side
You could go to the nearest bowling alley or play mini-golf which is a lighthearted bit of fun, as long as you don't get too competitive. The good thing about these places is that they nearly always have arcades so you can play games after if the dates going well.
Have you been to Bottomless brunch before?
Seeing as we're doing something a bit different to the traditional meal out, how about a bottomless brunch? This is a cheaper version and not to mention you can have as many drinks as you like (be careful though), sometimes places even offer bottomless food - win win!
Comedy nights are always fun!
Finding comedy nights near you can require some research beforehand but it's definitely something that will break the ice and fill the time if there are any awkward silences, plus it's something to laugh about after. Just beware if you sit near the front you probably will get picked on.
Bring the cinema to yours
Sometimes you just want to stay in a cuddle up on the sofa, well why not have a movie day/night. Plan out which films you want to watch, close the curtains and get your favourite snacks in. What a perfect, not to mention, cheap alternative in the comfort of your own home.
Treat yourself to a spa day
After a busy month back at uni there's nothing better than relaxing at a spa, this really is a treat. It doesn't have to be expensive (we know budgets can be tight) so have a look on Groupon, there's always spa treat deals on that'll be perfect for valentines.
Whatever you do, have a blast!
