Vegan places to try in Edinburgh

If you get involved in Meat Free Mondays, enjoy trying new vegetarian dishes or live a vegan lifestyle, there's no shortage of places to head out to eat in Edinburgh.

In honour of National Vegetarian Week, we've put together a list of 5 places to try if you're craving a delicious vegan or vegetarian meal.

You might see a few of these around Edinburgh! Whether it's the buzz of their Salad Table restaurant or the intimate Hendersons Vegan Restaurant, you can guarantee wholesome food made using fresh, local and organic ingredients.

They also have a Shop & Deli for you to stock up on your fresh produce! 

Love a bit of spice? Well, there's plenty at Kalpna. Opened over 40 years ago, it serves traditional Indian vegan and vegetarian food, perfect for a curry night with your flatmates.

The Forest Cafe
Quirky and full of charm, The Forest Cafe is a volunteer-led, community arts space serving vegan and vegetarian dishes. It's a great place to spend eating, chatting and enjoying gigs from local talent.
