Your guide to the SU
A great benefit to being a student at Heriot-Watt is the Student Union (HWUnion). Ran by students, for students, they organise events, offer support and want to make sure you have the BEST time here.
So, what else does HWUnion have?
Run out of milk? Need a snack between lectures? The Student Shop has groceries, stationery, toiletries, newspapers and all your Heriot-Watt merchandise. Find it in the Hugh Nisbet Building - right next to Elements and The Advice Hub.
Remember, anything you spend at the shop goes back to the Student Union to help pay for societies and the amazing Advice Hub.
The buzzing social hub of our Student Union! Enjoy a cheeky pint (from £2) or hang out in between lectures and grab a bite to eat. It also has...
- Table football
- 3 pool tables
- Giant projector screen
- 4 plasma screens
Sunny outside? Take your drinks and chill on the patio!
Looking for something more peaceful? Liberty's is the ideal place to chill and unwind. Fill up before lectures with our breakfast menu or else have a break during the day with a panini and Costa coffee.
You can also pick up any Amazon parcels from the Amazon lockers here too!
The Advice Hub
Here to help with any issues you may face during your time here, the Advice Hub provides free, impartial and confidential advice and support or if we can't help, put you in contact with someone who can.
