Edinburgh bookshops tour
Add this event to your calendar
Do you know that Edinburgh was the world’s very first UNESCO City of Literature? This is not a surprise given the many-many of literary references to be found around the capital. Our lovely city has connections to historic writers such as Robert Burns and Sir Walter Scott as well as modern authors such as Ian Rankin and J.K.Rowling.
And it's not just that, Edinburgh is blessed with countless bookstores from the modern Topping & Co and Waterstones, to the unique independent bookstores such as Armchair Books and Transreal.
So if you love books as much as we are, join our walking tour exploring some of Edinburgh's bookshops and find your hidden gems.
- When: Saturday, 18th Sept 2022
- Time: 12:00 - 16:00
- Meeting point: Main reception bus stop
The tour is free but we'll be hopping on and off different buses, so make sure you have your bus pass ready. Make sure you are dressed for a walking tour in the lovely Scottish weather.
