In your bedroom:

Your en-suite:

Your shared kitchen*:

  • Cooker
  • Fridge (1 shelf per person)
  • Freezer (1 shelf per person)
  • Kettle
  • Sweeping brush
  • Dustpan & brush
  • Recycling bin
  • Vacuum cleaner
  • Recycling bin
  • Waste bin
  • Lockable cupboard (1 shelf per person, padlock required)
  • Breakfast bar
  • Stools

There are lounges for you to use in your hall, to use them, you will need to follow some guidelines. Check out Wattliving.co.uk for more information. 

If you ever have any problems in your room/kitchen/hall (e.g. faulty lights, appliance breakdown), please email reslife@hw.ac.uk with as much detail of the issue as possible, including your room details. 

In the case of an emergency, contact SafeGuarding on 0131 451 3500 or on the red phone or press the ‘Emergency’ button on your Safezone app.

*It is your responsibility to clean up after yourself, mopping spillages etc. Sweeping brushes, mops and buckets are provided. Rubbish should be deposited appropriately. Failure to do so will result in cleaning charges and possible disciplinary action.
